If using drugs is causing problems in your life NA can help. NA exists solely so that its members can support each other to stay drug free and to help others achieve and maintain a drug free recovery and lifestyle.
NA is free, it costs nothing to attend our meetings.
Maybe you have already heard something about NA, or this is your first look at NA. Either way we welcome you to come along to a meeting, meet other recovering addicts, and find out for yourself if we have something to offer you.
A desire to stop using, a willingness to change and a little effort in attending meetings will get you off to a good start.
Many of found that attending an NA meeting for the first time took some courage as we didn't know what to expect. To find out about what happens at NA meetings please have a look at the 'Meetings - what to expect' section. Remember, everyone at the meeting attended their first meeting once and will remember how that felt.
There are no 'musts' in NA, you don't have to say anything at any NA meeting nor do you have to be clean to attend.
There are over 1000 NA meetings a week in the UK, that represents a lot of addicts getting and staying clean and a huge resource of experience to draw on.
There are no waiting lists in NA , just turn up
If you want to talk to someone first feel free to call our helpline on 0300 999 1212, it's open 10am to midnight daily and will be answered by a NA member.
NA members come from all walks of life and range in age from teenagers to OAP's.
